Preemptive propaganda...

U.S. Forces in S. Korea Stage Evacuation Drill of Noncombatants

Pyongyang, November 4, 2005 (KCNA) -- The U.S. forces in south Korea staged an exercise of evacuating noncombatants to Japan allegedly to cope with a contingency, according to the south Korean KBS. They evacuated noncombatants including GI families to the U.S. air base in Iwakuni of Japan by clippers and by air on Oct. 28 and brought them back to south Korea two days later. This was disclosed by "The Stars and Stripes" published by the U.S. Department of Defense. The recent drill was staged at a time when the U.S. is holding a war confab with the south Korean trigger-happy elements after working out "OPLAN 5027-04", a new war scenario to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the north. The U.S military trains it's soldiers to evacuate civilians, and the K.C.N.A "reports" it, as an IMMINENT nuclear war. For the 5th time this year. The Plan
This clearly indicates that the U.S. preparations for a war of aggression have already reached a final phase. They are prepared to destroy the D.P.R.K, if necessary, as they need to be. The U.S. should stop at once such reckless war moves designed to chill the atmosphere of the forthcoming 5th six-party talks. Like a mushroom cloud. Right?

Speaking of reckless war moves...

Lifestyle of Freedom

Fox News Yonhap November 4, 2005

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea's communist government is urging women in the country to wear traditional Korean clothes instead of pants, according to a North Korean monthly magazine. "Keeping alive our dress style is a very important political issue to adhere to specific national cultural traditions at a time when the U.S. imperialists are maneuvering to spread the rotten bourgeois lifestyle inside North Korea," the Joson Yeosung (Woman) magazine said, according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency.

There are so many ways to attack this one fucking sentence, I don't know how to start. "Important political issue"...!?!? The only people in the world that could ever accept this as fact, live under the D.P.R.K's rule. The things that come out of the mouth of these people really do defy logic in every sense of the term. This story is a pure and simple indictment, of how bad it really is in North Korea.

Rummy Speaks To Me

Donga.com U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is pointing to Pyongyang at a night satellite picture of the Korean peninsula while reporting the results of his visits to Asian countries, including South Korea, China, and Mongolia, to the Ministry of National Defense on November 1. This picture shows the sharp contrast of a dark North Korea compared to a brightly lighted South Korea. Rumsfeld often uses this picture to show the difference between the systems of the two Koreas. He is known to keep this picture under the glass of his desk at his office.

Long Live Donald Henry Rumsfeld.

JapanToday.com Wednesday, November 2, 2005
WASHINGTON — U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld slammed North Korea on Tuesday as being a "repressive" state starving its people and showing no signs of abandoning its nuclear development programs. Rumsfeld made the comments in comparing South and North Korea after his recent visit to South Korea and China.

Who can challenge what Rummy is about to say?

"Same people, north and south; same resources, north and south; the only differences is, the North has a repressive political regime and a command economy, and people are starving," he said. "And in the South, the free economic system and free political system have created an economic miracle."

Say something!

Well, I hate to say I was Right. REALLY! Apparently, North Korean citizens are not allowed to learn of the "ongoing" Olympic unification "talks". You see, in DPRKland, bad events never happen. Unless they involve Japan, or the U.S. "Il"logical events to follow...

Gift to Kim Jong Il from Swiss Guest Geeeee! I FUCKING wonder what it could be?
Pyongyang, November 1, 2005 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il was presented with a gift by the chairman of the Swiss Novartis AG on a visit to the DPRK. It was handed to Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, by Chairman Daniel Vasella today. Motherfuckin' Kim Jong Il...

Remarkable. Developing...

I thought it was another joke at first glance, until I noticed 196 related...
Where the fuck is the K.C.N.A's statement?!?!?!

SEOUL (Reuters) - North and South Korea agreed on Tuesday to compete as a single team for the first time at the 2006 Asian Games, and at the 2008 Olympic Games, a South Korean official said.North and South Korea have been bitter ideological -- and sporting -- rivals for more than 50 years and are gradually building closer relations across the Demilitarised Zone.
"We had discussed making a single team since we jointly marched in such international events six times," Baek Sung-il, a spokesman for South Korea's Olympic Committee, said by telephone from Macau. "As exchanges between South and North Korea have been progressing, the mood was ripe for reaching such an agreement."

As I am a logical and rational person... I have to wonder, when will it all be kyboshed by the D.P.R.K's usual deranged antics? I hope I'm wrong. If so, I could be spelling the end days of Kim Jong Il's regime. This could finally lead to the reunification that both Koreas, so long for. The best reads:

Something's wrong...

By AUDRA ANG, the Washington Post
Saturday, October 29, 2005; 4:28 PM
PYONGYANG, North Korea -- Kim Chol Min and his wife are browsing in the furniture section of the cavernous, deserted Taesong Department Store as music blares from a 43-inch Toshiba TV set priced at $3,500.

A government employee, I estimate...

Talking to a reporter under the watchful gaze of a government minder, they claim life has gotten so much better in the past three years that they can afford to be here shopping for furniture and a wardrobe on just two months of savings. "Thanks to ... the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il, our economy has improved step-by-step," says the bespectacled 50-year-old power station employee. "Our lives have "greatly" improved... in every way."

Oh. I guess he's just another supporter of Kim Jong Il...

Which Game?

Japanese Reactionaries' Computer War Games under Fire
The K.C.N.A, hard at work covering Hu Jintao's visit, somehow manage to find the time to blast the fuck out of Japan...
Pyongyang, October 28, 2005 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Korean National Peace Committee issued a statement on Oct. 27 to denounce the Japanese reactionaries' moves to make and circulate extremely belligerent and provocative computer war games in mobilizing "Self-Defence Forces" to unleash a war of aggression against Korea and surrounding countries, I think I played that one, I dunno. The Japanese make sooo many Good video games these days, it's hard to keep up... occupy Tok Islet and Jeju Island, attack the DPRK's nuclear facilities and smash the Chinese army. Yeayea... that WAS a hell of a game. March upon North Korea first, then use it as a massive military base to launch into China. The war games reflecting the Japanese rightist reactionaries' ambition for militarization and reinvasion are an intolerable provocation against the Koreans and other Asians as they are a dangerous prelude to reinvasion of Korea and surrounding countries, not mere games, Why are they hours of fun then? the statement said, and went on: You guys sound like Hillary talkin' bout G.T.A... The moves for war games are prompted by the Japanese reactionaries' sinister intention to incite the fever of militarism and reinvasion in Japanese society by taking advantage of the U.S. policy of a war of aggression and mobilize the SDF to swallow up Korea and, furthermore, the whole of Asia. Which game was that? Zelda? All the Koreans in the north and the south should heighten vigilance against the Japanese reactionaries' moves for reinvasion and frustrate them with national cooperation. The Japanese reactionaries should stop making the reckless war game which will entail their destruction and drop ambition for a comeback to Korea.
Ohhhhh! I know what game it was... Emperor.
