Survival tactics.

View of Life Carried Forward by Three Generations
Pyongyang, January 13, 2006 (KCNA) -- "Live not for today but for tomorrow"-- this is the view of life of leader Kim Jong Il. Cool. Isn't that Bond? This aphorism means that a man should willingly dedicate himself to the future of the fatherland guess not and the happiness of the generations to come, even though he does not enjoy a happy life. Neither do his citizens... Long time ago across a border far far away Kim Hyong Jik, grandfather of Kim Jong Il, advanced the idea of Jiwonh (aim high) that one should make revolution generation after generation with a far-reaching aim. President Kim Il Sung, carrying forward this and Stalin's idea, opened up a new path of the Korean revolution. Today the idea throws radiant rays in the generation of Kim Jong Il. Them are some radiant "Rays" of Goodness allRight...

Look at the guy on the left(Kim's right-hand-man) He, with the lofty outlook on surviving life embodying Jiwon and revolutionary confidence and will, is devoting his all for the happiness of the people. He failed. visited Jagang Province in January Juche 87(1998), the coldest motherfucker, err... period of the country, and gave field guidance to various units, covering over 2,400-km long path only in six days. Guiding the land rezoning project in North Phyongan Province, he said that the land readjustment was a patriotic cause for all ages and the prosperity of the country, opening up the bright future (but not bright lights) of the country. Looking round a catfish farm constructed by soldiers of the Korean People's Army, in October Juche 89(2000), he said that the farm was the fine fruition of the lofty spiritual world of the servicepersons living for tomorrow, not for today, with ardent love for the country. His becomes the view of life of the army and people of Korea who share the will and feelings with the leader. Herein lies the magic source of inexhaustible strength for building a great prosperous powerful socialist country. Kim Jong Il made public the famous work "Let us live not for today but for tomorrow" on January 14, Juche 85(1996).

I liked that one where that North Korean fuck took a face full of exploding diamonds. "Iron"y...

Two cents.

For what it's worth...

SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 (Yonhap) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-il toured Shanghai on Wednesday after flying to the hub of China's market economy two days ago on a rare overseas trip, diplomatic sources said.In keeping with its past practice, China remained silent on Kim's trip which began on Monday. Contrary to earlier reports that he had crossed into China by train, the leader flew directly to Shanghai by plane, the sources said, requesting anonymity.

Ooooooooo! Kim Jong Il can use two forms of travel! Facinating stuff really.
I like how they just casually chuck the term "China's market economy" out there...
Flying is the story here. No question.
Weird as FUCK!!!

Back where we started.

Nkzone again... by Rebecca MacKinnon
South Korean news agency Yonhap said it learned that the despotic North Korean leader had overcome his deep-rooted fear of flying and had flown to Shanghai, without explaining why his personal train would be travelling across China without him.
'He's not in Beijing at any rate,' the diplomat said confidently.

Never any names associated with 'em...

After all the hype...

Russian Ambassador Hosts Reception

Pyongyang, January 13, 2006 (KCNA) -- Russian Ambassador E.P. to the DPRK Andrei Karlov hosted a reception in honor of officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the embassy on Thursday evening on the occasion of the New Year Juche 95 (2006). Present on invitation were Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kung Sok Ung and officials of the ministry.

Left to right: Thierry Dana, Director for Asia, French Foreign Ministry; Ambassador Volker Stanzel, Director-General for Political Affairs, German Foreign Ministry; Dr Gary Samore;

Vice Foreign Minister Kung Sok Ung.

On hand were staff members of the Russian embassy. Speeches were made at the reception. Did the "media" attend? Do I really need to point out how uselessly irrelevant this "report" is? Sounds like the party wasn't much fun, that's for sure...

Why(how) is this news?

MOSCOW, Jan 12 (Reuters) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-il is at present in his country and the mystery person said to have crossed into China may be a member of his family, Russia's Itar-Tass news agency said on Thursday. Tass quoted an unnamed informed source in the North Korean capital Pyongyang, where the agency has a correspondent, as saying: "The leader, as far as I know, is at present in North Korea." The source said the person who crossed the border into China two days ago was probably someone close to the North Korean leadership and hinted he could belong to Kim's family, Tass said.

It is what it is!

I held my picture of Leader Kim Jong Il to my heart and prayed him for my brother's health and several days later my brother started to feel better! This is only one example of Leader's loving care for the people of the world. In DPRK comrade Kim Yong Ok was burned while saving slogan banners from a fire and was left with burn scars on her face and hands. Leader Kim Jong Il met with her and had her sent to world's best hospital in China for medical care to restore her face and hands.

At least it's fresh...

Speaking of going off the deep end...

Lack of emmigration...

All Koreans Called upon to Remain True to Idea of National Independence
Pyongyang, January 11, 2006 (KCNA) -- National independence is a treasured sword for waging war usually, the movement for national reunification and carving out throats the destiny of the nation, says Rodong Sinmun today in a by-lined article. It goes ontm :

For a nation to survive and develop it is necessary to firmly maintain independence among other things, like international isolation. The Korean nation should hold aloft the banner of independence as it is faced with a historic task to achieve national reunification. Then what? It ain't like North Koreans will be visiting Seoul as tourists under current North Korean leadership. The June 15 era of reunification proves that national independence serves as a powerful treasured sword for waging the movement for national reunification and carving out the hearts of people that want a different destiny of the nation. Today this movement has turned into a nationwide movement which involves ruthless authorities and HELPLESS civilians by bringing together, tactics to oppress Koreans from all walks of life in the north, the south and abroad. This is the brilliantly evil fruition of the idea of national independence "By our nation itself." The idea of "By our nation itself" precisely means the idea of radical national independence. The Koreans should settle all the issues related to the national reunification and the destiny of the nation as required by the idea of "By our nation itself" under any circumstances by putting the destiny and interests of the ("the", as in only "the" North Korean) nation above anything else. This is the idea of giving importance to the nation. Now that the U.S. is pressurizing the south Korean authorities to link the issue of inter-Korean economic cooperation with the nuclear issue and citing the "non-existent" "human rights issue" of the lying fucking scumbags of the north in a bid to bedevil the inter-Korean ties having a viewpoint of attaching importance to the nation as required by the idea of "By our nation itself" at present presents itself as a more urgent issue than ever before. The joint New Year editorial notes that the grand celebration of June 15, the day when the inter-Korean joint declaration was published, as the "day of by our nation itself" should be made a tradition. This will strikingly demonstrate all the Koreans' will to always remain true to the idea of "By our nation itself". All the Koreans should wage a dynamic patriotic horrifying movement for independence and reunification under the uplifted banner of national independence. "By themself, without Kim Jong Il" is my motto. That and, I am the sworn enemy of Kim Jong Il...

Pyongyang, January 10, 2006 (KCNA) -- The young vanguard The who now? met at the open-air theater in Youth Park on Monday to vow to carry through the militant tasks laid down uh huh? Grate news... in the joint New Year editorial. At the meeting, Kim Kyong Ho, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League A.K.A The Kim Il Sung Youth, made a report which was followed by speeches. The reporter and speakers said that the young people are a standard-bearer of the vanguard who should stand in the van The what in the whonow? of the present worthwhile general advance. The young people should join the People's Army to glorify their youthful days with arms and fully discharge their mission in the fields of agriculture, power, coal and metal industries and railway transport, they noted. They stressed the need for the youths to successfully build the Paektusan Songun Youth Power Station and other grand monumental edifices and\to solve scientific and technical problems??? arising in the building of a great prosperous powerful nation and the need for students to prepare themselves to be competent scientific and technical personnel. The meeting adopted an appeal to the five million-strong young vanguard across the country. The appeal called upon the young people to become fiery fighters in devotedly safeguarding the leader and staunch revolutionary fighters who are thoroughly equipped with the Juche idea and the Songun idea of the Workers' Party of Korea and have acquired the revolutionary soldier spirit as their lifeblood. The young people, it said, should become performers of feats and young heroes in the vigorous struggle to build an economic power like South Korea in the 21st century through a high-pitched drive for effecting a great Songun revolutionary surge just as the Korean people brought about the great Chollima upswing after the war to advance toward a socialist power. hehe... A WHAT!?!? Say that again please? Present at the meeting were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned and youth and students in the city of Pyongyang. Not present was a socialist power...
