Discounted Reports
SEOUL (Reuters) Sept 3, 2006 - North Korea may be preparing for another missile test, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday, but a government official in Seoul discounted the report. *snicker*
Yonhap also reported China is likely to invite North Korean leader Kim Jong-il to visit this week in an effort to restore their relationship strained after North Korea's missile tests in July.
I was under the impression he's already there.
Should I discount that report, as well???
"As far as we know, no new vehicles have moved in that area," the official, who is familiar with defense matters, told Reuters by telephone. The official, who asked not to be identified, said the activity was among vehicles that have been at the site since July. "Given this, it may be too much of a stretch to say this indicates the possibility of new missile tests by the North." So North Korea fails a missile test in July, has the same vehicles there since then, and it's "a stretch to say this indicates the possibility of new missile tests". It isn't "a stretch to say this" unnamed official has no business defending South Korea. Good ol' America does that...

I hate to be the first one to tell you this Scout, but you are a flaming hard-core leftist. I've read your entire blog, and trust me, every single word of it is leftist ideology.
It always amuses me when people on the left refuse to be called "leftist", while the Right is proud to be declared Right...
p.s Hackin' on ALL politicians while sitting on the fence does not make anyone "no party politics".It makes them an undecided idiot...
