"Manse" Appears In Arirang

I have just returned from Pyongyang where the Mass Games of 2005 have just begun. For the first time tourists and other non-diplomatic foreigners were able to attend the opening night which was postponed from Monday (Liberation Day) to Tuesday for no given reason (there was a Mass Dance event on Kim Il Sung square on Monday night which we also attended, in the presence of number 2 man Kim Yong Nam, hiding in the shadows atop the viewing area but visible through a 300mm lens)....
... getting into the stadium was like entering an airport; metal detectors and pat downs. The reason became clear as soon as the performers walked out onto the pitch of the stadium, Kim Jong Il strode out and everybody there went wild.
The last time KJI appeared at a public event was September 9th 2003 and he has never before appeared in front of tourists, a real shame Awwww yea. It's a real fucking SHAME(?!?) Kim has the resources to militantly check 150,000 in "order" to confiscate ALL cameras and tape recorders... nobody was allowed a camera or tape recorder as the cries of "Manse, Manse!" from the Koreans was deafening, I wish I had a fresh pic...
The sporting events in North Korea are not quite... as attended.
People there are forced to look at his face everyday.
Imagine having the only "league" in your whole country, playing a "sport" where "he" is the ONLY competitor...
I would probably be fucking excited too.
