Scary title... but it's a joke.
North Korea computerizing its identification system of civilians and soldiers
Sounds like some nefarious Orwellian tracking device huh?

SEOUL, August 24 (Itar-Tass) --North Korea is computerizing its identification system of civilians and soldiers in an apparent move to tighten control over population, Yonhap News agency reported Wednesday.
Ok. This could be interesting...
Using an identification registration software program dubbed "Chungbok 2.0," police authorities in the North have been storing residents' personal information since December 2003. Yonhap said it obtained a copy of the program. It has about 10 entries, including gender, age, date of birth or death, family members, and address, as well as various demographical statistics.
Oh, so basically... a basic database used by agencies in every other country all around the world. North Korea makes the news in strange ways.
