Kim Jong Il's Palace(39d06'36.67"N 125d59'47.09E)?

Incredible. This is almost 10 miles up. It's fucking HUGE.

Scott: Anyone have any idea what is at 39d06'36.67"N 125d59'47.09E ?? It looks like some sort of palace with a golf course around it. Just wondering...

H/T to Simon of NKZone. Credit to Digital Globe and Google Earth

Simon:"Don't know what it is but it isn't Mount Kumgang (on the East Coaast) and it isnt the Taesong Golf Course (out towards Nampo), Look's like someone's fancy house, Wonder who?" Ok, Simon. You are strange and crazy... But fucking cool too.

I find it disgusting that this complete loser created this huge palace for himself while starving his own people. Knight, continue on your mission, we applaud your brave and courageous efforts.

Jeff, when you see a giant palace in North Korea, you have to remember that it's not like the country has rich entreprenuers...
Look at YOUR palace at 10 miles up...

Taylor: Thank you. I appreciate that. I have one hardcore fan from the Republic of Korea. That's enough for me to keep this blog cranking...

Time to look for Kim's costal retreat...

People:

If you are running Google Earth, try

39d36'46.99 124d37'51.80

Or go to the Gulf of Sosin Wan in at the Northeast border...

Use the numbers to guide your direction. Some people at NKzone have numbers to prison camps, and North Korea's Tacheon 200MW reactor.

Be sure to look at the gulf just south of the east Chinese border. It is called Sosin Wan.

I don't know what it is, but it's something...
