Tuesday sent a message of greetings to Bashar Al-Assad, regional secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party and president of Syria, on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the March 8 revolution in Syria. The Syrian people have made great achievements in their struggle to push aside the interference and pressure of the imperialists, putting Lebanon aside, and the Zionists and achieve the "prosperity" and "development" of the country under the correct "leadership" of the Arab Socialist Baath Party after the revolution, the message said, and went on: The Korean people extend invariable support and solidarity to the Syrian people in their just cause to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and solve the issue of the Middle East in a fair and package way. He expressed the conviction that the good relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue to vigorously consolidate and develop.
