Bad Solution

The Associated Press Tuesday, October 25, 2005
Tokyo: The UN World Food Program will greatly reduce its operations in North Korea at the request of the government, great news, which is expecting a better harvest this year finally, the WFP director said Tuesday. James Morris told reporters the group would shut down 19 food processing plants in the country but would keep staff in North Korea. "We intend to wind down our humanitarian work in North Korea by the end of November," Morris said. "My sense is that North Korea wants WFP to stay. They want to be sure that we are available for technical assistance, that we are available in case an emergency comes along, and they would like for us to be helpful in terms of development activities." The Stalinist state suffered fatal famines in the 1990s. Since 1995, WFP has distributed about four million tons of food in North Korea. International welfare. I think international WARFARE(against the D.P.R.K) would have been a better solution. Just my opinion. The agency says it feeds about 6.5 million North Koreans, or more than one-quarter of the country's population of 23 million. Hey buuuudy. Got a quarter man!
